The Making Vietnamese Life Better fund was established on the 22nd, August 2009 by Phan Duc Binh – Chairman and General Director of ANCO Group, aimed at supporting the orphans, handicapped, and homeless elderly men and women.
The goal of the charity fund is to build an alms-house, an old-age care center, and a vocational training center. These are the biggest targets of the group. One month after being founded, the fund started by giving free presents to the handicapped , orphans, the poor and the families which had contribution to the revolution in Hoang Van Thu village, Van Lang district, Lang Son and other activities on the 26th, September 2009. The Making Vietnamese Life Better Fund along with the Vietnam Orphans and Handicapped Sponsor Association, Lang Son People’s Committee, other associations and benefactors held a Full-Moon Festival Night program for children. This was also the celebration for the 100th birthday anniversary Hoang Van Thu, a well-known soldier and excellent son of Lang Son Province. The event honored the spirit, origin, and revolutionary tradition of our forefathers. Many valuable presents were given away. This helped give a meaningful mid-autumn festival to the poor families, homeless, handicapped. While looking at the bright eyes, and happy smiles of the children present, the volunteers knew that this was just one of many successful events to come. The Full-Moon Festival Night was a very successful event and was a big day for the children and the volunteers.
Children who were being treated in Central Children’s Hospital, Hanoi Heart Disease Hospital as well as in the mountainous areas such as Lao Cai and Yen Bai, were also given a lot of attention at this event. This was shared with For Vietnamese Life Fund. Though it is the small contribution, it gives the children a fun and happy experience.

There are many emotional stories about the kindness, misfortune life around us, and there are also the pain of the poor. The social kindness toward that unlucky fates will shine their souls.
The Run For Children 2009 that happened on Sunday, 22 November 2009 at Thuyen Quang Lake was a typical example of the positive contribution of the fund, toward the cancer and heart disease children. They are the sunflowers and we should be their sun. With slogan “leaves protect tattered ones” and in order to overcome the aftermath of the natural disasters of the 9 and the 11 storm in Central areas and Phu Yen province, being supported by ANCO group staff, the fund connects to the Hanoi Young Business Association and Ho Chi Minh Buddhist Association – Advisory board, supporting Dieu Giac pagoda – contribute more than 10 million to help people overcome the consequences after huge storm.
